United Media, the media outfit of South-Eastern European service provider United Group, has secured the exclusive rights to Handball-Bundesliga to broadcast on Sport Klub channels in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.

This autumn Sport Klub will air every round of Bundesliga live matches, along with the complete DHB Cup and Super Cup, during the 34-week season.

According to the European Handball Federation, the German handball competition ranks as the strongest national league in Europe.

“We have always been dedicated to handball. Throughout the last 17 years, Sport Klub has given great importance to this sport through live broadcasts, and we are thrilled to offer the best national handball league this season. Fans can enjoy exciting matches between German and European giants in every league round,” said CEO of Sport Klub Nemanja Simeunovic.

The German Handball Bundesliga said “The partnership with Sport Klub due to its extensive popularity and coverage in the region. Broadcasting top-level handball to viewers in all six countries will contribute to the league’s, clubs’, and players’ increased popularity.”

The multi-year deal with Handball-Bundesliga comes as the United Media expands its sports offering. The company recently signed a multi-year deal with the Association of Basketball Clubs of Spain (ACB) to pick up the exclusive broadcasting rights of Liga Endesa for Sport Klub channels.
