NBCUniversal launches nearly 30 FAST channels on Amazon Freevee

NBCUniversal has announced it is to launch nearly new 30 FAST channels with content curated from across the NBCU Television & Streaming portfolio and NBCUniversal Global Distribution library on Amazon Freevee powered by Xumo Play.

The US media giant signed a deal with Amazon Freevee and Xumo Play for the entire FAST content portfolio. Xumo Enterprise, the business-to-business arm of Xumo that provides content owners, distributors and advertisers with tools and services to succeed in FAST, will power the distribution of NBCUniversal’s new FAST channels on third party services starting with Amazon Freevee.

The channels will include programming from past seasons of Saturday Night Live, The Real Housewives franchises, Top Chef and Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

In addition, NBCUniversal will deliver Spanish-language entertainment and news from its television network Telemundo.

The company will also launch dedicated FAST channels for hit series Little House on the Prairie, Murder, She Wrote and Saved by the Bell

“Freevee has grown into a destination for a vast selection of FAST Channels, offering customers a wide selection of programming to stream from nearly any device including the Freevee app, Fire TV, and Prime Video,” said Ryan Pirozzi, head of Amazon Freevee.

Among the slate of channels are Bravo Vault, E! Keeping Up, Million Dollar Listing Vault, Oxygen True Crime Archives, Real Housewives Vault, SNL Vault: Top Chef Vault, American Crimes, GolfPass, NBC Sports, Historias de Amor, Lo Mejor de Telemundo, Noticias Telemundo Ahora, Telemundo al Día, Rotten Tomatoes. Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Bad Girls Club, Lassie, Little House on the Prairie, Made in Chelsea Murder, She Wrote, Saved by the Bell, TNBC,The Lone Ranger, Universal Action, Universal Crime, Universal Westerns, and Universal Monsters.
