Fox Corp names Mike Mulvihill president of insights & analytics

Fox Sports executive Mike Mulvihill has been named president of insights and analytics at Fox Corporation.

In this new role, Mulvihill will oversee the research, analytics and strategic planning teams across Fox Sports, Fox Entertainment and Tubi.

He will continue to report to Mark Silverman, president & COO of Fox Sports, while also reporting to Fox Entertainment and Tubi leadership team.

Mulvihill joined FOX Sports in 1996 and was appointed executive vice president and head of Strategy and Analytics for Fox Sports in 2016. During his time at Fox Sports, he played an important role in maintaining existing rights deals with several of Fox Sports’ key league partners, including the National Football League and Major League Baseball. He was also behind Fox Sports’ rights deal that secured the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and 2022, as well as adding 2026 FIFA World Cup to Fox Sports’ portfolio.  He was also responsible for Fox s horse racing content and negotiated the deals that brought the Belmont Stakes to Fox beginning in 2023.

The exec also served as a liaison providing input on scheduling decisions between Fox Sports and league partners including NFL, MLB and NASCAR.

“Mike has been an unbelievable asset to the Fox Sports team, providing unmatched insightful analysis, and helping us grow our business to new heights,” said Silverman.

Fox Corporation unveiled the formation of Tubi Media Group under the new leadership of Paul Cheesbrough, following a restructure of the brand. The former Tubi CEO Farhad Massoudi stepped down from the role in June.

The new division will house Fox’s standalone digital businesses including Tubi, Credible and Blockchain Creative Labs, joined by the digital platforms and teams that support Fox’s wider digital business in news, sports and entertainment.
