Eurovision Sport secures broadcasting rights for FIBA 3×3

Eurovision Sport, a division of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), has secured a deal with FIBA for the broadcasting rights of all its 3×3 basketball events over the next two years.

FIBA’s 3×3 basketball made its Olympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The agreement includes coverage on the forthcoming FIBA 3×3 World Cup 2023 in Vienna, which opens on 30 May and runs to 4 June, 2023. Alongside coverage on two Europe Cups and the three Olympic qualification tournaments.

The EBU has acquired exclusive live rights for its members in the territories of Belgium (RTBF and VRT), Greece (ERT), Hungary (MTVA), Lithuania (LRT), Netherlands (NOS), Poland (TVP), Spain (RTVE) and Switzerland (SRG-SSR) with the option to include more members from additional territories if their national teams qualify for an event.

EBU members will base their coverage on their national teams and will air the content on both their linear and non-linear platforms.
