DAZN hits 40 million views on UWCL YouTube channel

DAZN has surpassed 40 million views on its UEFA Women’s Champion League YouTube channel for the season across live and non-live content.

Since launching in 2021, the YouTube platform ran by the sports streaming service has recached over half a million subscribers. In March alone, the UWCL channel which streams content, interviews and all UWCL matches reached 13.5 million views.

DAZN announced in 2021 following a deal with the UEFA, for the first two seasons of 2021-23 all 61 matches from the group stage onwards will be aired on DAZN and free on DAZN’s YouTube channel. For the last two seasons (2023-25), all 61 matches will be live on DAZN while 19 matches will be made available for free on DAZN’s YouTube channel.

According to the sports streamer, its coverage of the UWCL’s 61 matches 2021 season attracted 64 million views on DAZN and its UWCL YouTube channel from over 230 countries and territories. It carried a total of 168 broadcast feeds in 11 different languages, with the last three months of the season seeing more than 12.3 million unique visitors to DAZN’s UWCL YouTube channel to watch the knockout round fixtures, final, and original content.
