SkyShowtime completes European roll-out

SkyShowtime is set to complete its European roll-out in 2023 with it launching across Central and Eastern European, joined by Spain and Andorra on 28 February.

From today, SkyShowtime has been made available in Albania, Czechia, Hungary, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia. With the final launches in Spain and Andorra nearing the end of the month. 

The streaming service will have launched across more than 20 markets in just five months, after it’s roll-out began in September 2022 debuting in the Nordics. It has since launched in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, Portugal, Bosnia & Herzegovonia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia. 

SkyShowtime delivers exclusive television premieres of first-run theatrical films from Universal Pictures and Paramount Pictures, as well as, exclusive scripted series, kids and family content from Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Animation, Paramount+, Showtime, Sky Studios and Peacock. The company recently acquired European exclusive rights across to 21 HBO Max European Originals, including 168 episodes of original scripted programming.
