YouSee taps Simply.TV for metadata across streaming and linear TV

Danish service provider Nuuday, which operates consumer-facing services under the YouSee brand, is tapping metadata specialist Simply. to improve its TV offering.

YouSee has entered a multi-year deal with metadata leader Simply.TV to provide the dataset to power universal search across linear and streaming services.

Simply.TV said its advanced metadata would help YouSee to strengthen its platform both in terms of visuals, recommendations via keywords, extensive sports data, accurate data via direct and constant ingestion of broadcaster data and a fully normalized ID space bringing all services together.
