MásMóvil’s Yoigo gets LaLiga Smartbank

Spanish service provider MásMóvil has added Spain’s second division football competition, LaLiga Smartbank, to the TV line-up of its Yoigo service.

Yoigo customers can now view LaLiga Smartbank via the new TV Premium Extra package from its TV service provider Agile TV together with new sport and movie channels.

TV Premium Extra is available for €6 per month for Yoigo customers.

In addition to live coverage of matches, the package also includes LaLiga Smartbank TV Multi 2 and Multi 3 to enable viewers to watch multiple matches that are taking place at the same time.

The package also includes sports channels Eurosport 1 and Eursport 2, Ubeat, Surf Channel, Cazavision and iberalia, along with new movie channels Cines Verdi TV and Cine Feel Good Verdi TV.

All channels are available live and on-demand.

The sports additions come as a result of an extension of an agreement between Agile TV and sports streamer DAZN, which also enables Yoigo customers to watch five matches on each of 35 match days of top-tier football league LaLiga Santander.

Other football tournaments available via the service include the Premier League, the UWCL, the Copa Libertadores, the Copa Sudamericana, the FA Cup and Major League Soccer, which sit alongside sports offerings MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, F1, Turkish Airlines EuroLeague basketball and Matchroom Boxing.

“We are very satisfied to be able to offer to our customer the bewt sporting content, adding today to our football offering the second division LaLiga Smartbank, as part of our new TV Premium Extra product. In Yoigo we want our customers to have access to all high-quality content via our decoder and therefore to be the most satisfied in the market,” said Jacobo Gálvez, MásMóvil director of marketing.

MásMóvil had earlier added LaLiga Smartbank to the line-up available to customers of the Virgin telco brand it inherited from its acquisition of Euskaltel Group, again via the TV Premium Extra offering, and to customers of Galicia-region operator R, also part of Euskaltel Group, via a new Total TV package.
