Broadpeak launches dynamic ad insertion as-a-service on

Broadpeak has announced a new Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) application on its software as a service (SaaS) platform.

The DAI as a service utilises server-side ad insertion technology pre-integrated with all major ad servers on the market, reducing the time to market for targeted ad streaming services and enabling OTT service providers to start monetizing their content quickly. The DAI application leverages standard IAB interfaces and protocols such as VAST and VMAP to streamline targeted ad distribution. 

Broadpeak added that the DAI as a service automatically leverages ABR video transcoding and audio normalisation with loudness control technology on ad creatives to ensure an outstanding quality of experience for end users. By boosting ad quality, DAI as a service maximises ad impression potential.

The tech also streamlines the delivery of targeted ads in live programmatic workflows and unknown ad pod sequences. Pre-roll, mid-roll, and post-roll targeted ad insertion for VOD and catch-up TV are also supported on DAI as a service.
