Technetix hires ex-Concurrent CEO and Arris exec as advisor

Broadband technology outfit Technetix has engaged former Concurrent CEO and Vecima Networks and Arris executive Derek Elder as a strategic advisor.

Elder has been hired to assist Paul Broadhurst, group founder and CEO of Technetix with the continuing strategic development of the business, the company said.

Elder has previously served as CEO and director of Concurrent Computer Corporation pesident of Sercomm Corporation, independent director of Vecima Networks and SVP at Arris, now CommScope.  He currently leads Sky Advisors, a telecom-focused strategy consultancy and sits on the board of Directors of Miratech Group and QTRACT.
