ANGA COM to make comeback in May

ANGA COM will return in May, the event organisers have confirmed.

This will be the first in-person iteration of the event since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. ANGA COM said that the total space of the European and North American exhibitors is already at the level of the last show held in 2019.

The conference will take place on May 10-12 in Cologne, Germany, with a complete conference programme to be published in March. Conference topics include Fibre/FTTH, DOCSIS 4.0, 10G, Cloud Services, OTT, AppTV, Video Streaming, Fixed Mobile Convergence, Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence, Smart City and Smart Home.

Highlighted speakers include Vodafone Deutschland CEO Dr. Hannes Ametsreiter, Tele Columbus CEO DR. Daniel Ritz and Deutsche Glasfaser CEO Thorsten Dirks.

The conference will also play host to the International CTO Summit with participation from companies including Liberty Global, Telefónica, Amazon Prime Video, DAZN, Google and others.

Exhibition tickets are available for €25, while full conference tickets can be booked from €120.

Dr. Peter Charissé, managing director of ANGA COM, said: “We receive growing optimism from our exhibitors every day. The broadband and media industry is facing a new and splendid level of investment. In Germany, for example, with its more than 40 million households, network operators and a steadily growing number of international investors have announced to invest many billions in new fibre infrastructures.

“All leading fibre operators will be prominently represented in the conference programme. ANGA COM will be the first major industry meeting with early summer conditions. With 15-metre high exhibition halls, a huge foyer and the popular open air plaza with food trucks, our location has never been more attractive.”
