Roku brings voice remote to the UK

Roku has launched its voice remote in the UK.

The Roku Voice remote, as the name would suggest puts voice search and voice control at the heart of the Roku user experience. Users can press the voice search button and search for actors, directors, movie and TV shows titles, while voice can also be used to launch channels, a favourite show, or music.

A recent Roku OS update also allows users to dictate email addresses and passwords with voice instead of using the onscreen keyboard.

The Roku Voice Remote is compatible with most recent Roku players and Roku TV models. Compatible models include the latest generation Roku Express 4K devices and the Roku Streambar.

The Roku Voice Remote is available for £19.99 in the UK.
