On compatible TVs, the Disney+ app icon will become visible in the Application view, allowing viewers to watch Disney+ content.
The service will be available on 4K Panasonic TVs with my Home Screen OS with product prefixes EZ, EX, FZ, FX, GZ, GX, HZ, HX, JZ and JX in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Latin America.
The launch will enable Disney+ to use Panasonic TVs to view the range of movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, along with The Simpsons and more, on their TV screens.
In select international markets, the Disney+ service also includes the general entertainment content brand, Star, which offers commercial-free streaming alongside a collection of exclusive originals, including feature-length films, documentaries, live-action and animated series, and short-form content.
Disney+ is also the exclusive streaming home for the newest releases from The Walt Disney Studios. And through Star, it offers a catalogue from 20th Century Studios, Disney Television Studios, FX and Searchlight Pictures.
