The service, branded as Dyvysʹ pryamo zaraz! (Watch Right Now!) will include a broad range of Ukrainian movies such as Ivan Syla, Smertelʹno zhyvyy and Izzi as well as international titles.
Volia said the catalogue would be updated on September 15 and at the beginning of each month after that. Content will be available without advertising.
The service will be available on Samsung, LG, Hisenese, Sony and Philips smart TVs as well as Android smartphones and Android TV and on the web.
“At the moment, we are running in test mode to assess the attractiveness of this service. In the future, we plan to qualitatively and quantitatively improve the FreeVOD * catalog by providing users with free access to some premium segment movies, the first episodes of popular series, as well as UEFA match archives, ” said Sandra Krauina, Volia’s marketing director.
