Music streamer Deezer names new chief commercial officer

Global music streaming service Deezer has appointed Laurence Miall – d’Août as its chief commercial officer. In her new role, Miall – d’Août will be responsible for Deezer’s B2B activities around the world, including local and global partnerships, business development and advertising sales, as well as public relations. She joins on April 2nd.

Miall – d’Août joins Deezer from Liberty Global, where she was VP Advanced Data and Advertising. Commenting on the appointment, Deezer CEO Hans-Holger Albrecht said: “Laurence brings a wealth of commercial experience and a long track record in ad monetisation, partnership strategies and business growth. I’m look forward to working with her to accelerate our growth across the world.”

Deezer connects 14 million monthly active users around the world to 53 million tracks. Available in over 180 countries worldwide, it gives instant access to a large and diverse global music streaming catalogue across devices.
