New chief for Montenegrin pubcaster

Montenegrin public broadcaster RTCG has named Božidar Sundic as its new managing director. The RTCG Council appointed Sundic with a four-year mandate, with seven out of nine council members voting in favour and two abstaining.

Sundic, an experienced journalist, started his career in 1982 in Radio Titograd. He has served as editor-in-chief and owner of Radio Gorica, director and editor-in-chief of RTV Elmag, executive director of Pink M television, executive director of RTV Atlas, editor of Radio 98, acting director of TVCG and, since June, acting managing director of RTCG.

The broadcaster’s council also agreed to invest in its online portal, along with more programming aimed at national minorities.
