UK media regulator Ofcom has appointed former Sky and YouTube executive Stephen Nuttall to its content board.
Nuttall, who joins the content board on a three-year term, has held positions including senior director at YouTube EMEA and group commercial director at Sky.
He has also served as a board member of Team Sky, ,Sky’s professional cycling team, digital-terrestrial platform Freeview and the National Geographic Channel.
Ofcom’s Content Board is a committee of the main Ofcom Board. It has advisory responsibility for a wide range of content issues, including the regulation of television, radio and video-on-demand quality and standards.
The Content Board provides senior editorial and content experience to Ofcom. Its current members have worked at a range of UK broadcasters, including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, S4C and Sky.
