Scotland’s STV has agreed a strategic partnership deal with Eleven Sports as the sports broadcaster looks to expand its subscription offering in the UK.
STV said the agreement builds on its experience in marketing its STV Player video-on-demand service. It will help advertisers to target their products and services to Eleven Sports viewers.
“Eleven Sports is a fast-growing digital broadcaster, and our new partnership will provide a fantastic opportunity for advertisers,” said Peter Reilly, STV’s commercial director.
“STV has extensive experience in serving premium content on the STV Player and we are delighted to enter into this venture with Eleven Sports as our first partner receiving digital sales representation.”
Eleven Sports UK’s commercial director, Richard Young, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with STV to leverage our channels’ outstanding content with innovative digital advertising and sponsorship opportunities.”
