Vodafone Portugal has launched a ‘smart replay’ feature in time for the FIFA World Cup that provides smart bookmarks identifying the key highlights of matches.
The service, available free of charge to Vodafone Net Voz customers, enables users to view a timeline at the bottom of the screen that identifies the key highlights of the game, including goals, yellow and red cards, substitutions, missed goals and injuries.
The functionality also provides information about the teams and events of the game on a single screen.
The introduction of the smart replay feature is a first for Vodafone Net Voz users. The functionality was previously only available for multiscreen viewing.
The introduction of the service for the World Cup may be followed by its application to other events and content subsequently, Vodafone Portugal said.
