Simon Pollock launches executive search firm

Industry veteran and former A+E executive Simon Pollock has launched his own executive search outfit for the global media and entertainment business, Simon Pollock & Co.

Pollock will work closely with Stephen Buchanan, managing director of Research Europe, whose team will provide comprehensive research support on assignments.

Pollock has spent the past 25 years in senior roles for two Hollywood studios, Disney and Sony, as well as nine years with A+E Networks, establishing its London office and spearheading the launch of The History Channel throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Most recently he was head of practice, media and entertainment at search firm Heidrick & Struggles.

“If you operate in the media sector in any country in the world and need to appoint senior executives, I and my colleagues will find them. No one knows more about who’s who and what’s what in media than we do,” he said.
