Search and recommendations specialist, ThinkAnalytics, said it now has more than 220 million global subscribers under contract after reporting record results.
The private, employee-owned company – which provides a search and recommendations engine to pay TV and OTT providers – said its turnover was up 25% and profits were up 30% year-on-year for the 12 months ending June 30, 2017.
ThinkAnalytics said business highlights included launches with Astro, CenturyLink, PCCW, Vodafone Kabel Deutschland and Liberty Global.
New contract wins included Megacable, Proximus, Telia, and TDC, as well as a large but unnamed European telco deploying “across multiple countries in multiple languages for pay TV and OTT”.
“More and more we see our leading recommendations customers adopting ThinkBigData. Using ThinkAnalytics’ deep learning and insight, customers are enabled to better drive their business and user experience, resulting in greater agility and a very fast return on investment,” said Eddie Young, chairman, ThinkAnalytics.
“We’ve seen a step change in our pay TV and OTT business this year, which reflects our keen focus on continual innovation and our ability to deliver ROI on the back of strong uplift results for customers.”
