Spanish public broadcaster RTVE and satellite operator Hispasat plan to make Spain’s first live TV broadcast using 4K High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology this week.
RTVE and Hispasat will collaborate to broadcast the Solemn Changing of the Royal Guard from the Royal Palace in Madrid on 5 July at 12:00pm.
Viewers with 4K HDR TV sets will be able to tune in on the 4K channel currently being tested by RTVE, which available in Madrid on channel 32, Barcelona on channel 43 and in Sevilla on channel 36.
The National Heritage and Casa Real have also collaborated in the broadcast of the event, alongside the companies Ateme, Loewe, LG, Dolby, Cellnex, Albala, Abacanto, Grass Valley, Crosspoint, EVS, Moncada y Lorenzo, Canon and Huri.
