ANGA COM unveils speaker line-up

ANGA_COM_1Cologne-based cable and broadband trade show ANGA COM has unveiled the line-up of this year’s congress agenda.

This year, a joint opening session with the media congress Medienforum NRW will include the participation of Hannes Ametsreiter, CEO, Vodafone Germany, Niek Jan van Damme, Member of the Management Board, Deutsche Telekom, Anke Schäferkordt, CEO, Media Group RTL Deutschland, Carsten Schmidt, CEO, Sky Deutschland, Ronny Verhelst, CEO, Tele Columbus and Christoph Vilanek, CEO, freenet.

The discussion will focus on the topic ‘Gigabit, 4K and Over the Top: Broadband and Media under Disruption’.

ANGA COM is this year moving into two new exhibition halls and the CongressCenter North at the Köln Messe.

The third day of ANGA COM has been designed as a broadband theme day with free access for all visitors with prior online registration. The Thursday agenda focuses on infrastructure topics including both cable and fibre. The topics of the eight strategy and technology panels include regulatory issues for the gigabit society, cooperation models for broadband rollout, smart city, smart home, Internet of Things and DOCSIS 3.1.

ANGA has teamed up with the Bitkom Federal Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media, the BREKO broadband association, the BUGLAS association of fibre network operators, the VATM association of telecommunications and cable and satellite industry association ZVEI.

Peter Charissé, managing director of ANGA COM said: “With the relocation we will reach a completely new level regarding appearance, convenience and logistics. With already 420 exhibitor registrations, the feedback of our exhibitors to the new concept is fantastic; many of them have increased their stand space.”

ANGA COM 2017 takes place at the Köln Messe from May 30 to June 1 2017.
