SFR names new finance chief

François Vauthier

Altice-owned French service provider SFR has named François Vauthier as its new finance director.

Vauther, who was previously chief controlling officer, replaces Jean Raby, who took up the post in April with the task of reorganising the company’s finance department, improving processes and preparing it for the next stage of its development. Raby will continue to work with Altice Group on other projects.

Vauthier, who started his career at Ernst & Young, joined Altice Group in 2011. He will join the SFR management committee.

Michel Combes, president and CEO of SFR, said that Vauthier knew the group perfectly and would give a new dynamic to the company’s finance department.
