Zenterio launching consultancy company following acquisitions

Interactive TV platform provider Zenterio is to use TV Connect to launch a new consultancy service company for digital TV and video streaming products and services.

The launch of Zenterio Services follows the company’s acquisition of 27M, VTilt, and Systemagic. By combining the expertise and experience of these businesses, according to Zenterio, Zenterio Services will provide consultancy around a more comprehensive range of services, including system integration, user interface development, application development, device design, technology consulting and product lifecycle management.

Moving beyond traditional TV, Zenterio Services will also advise operators on projects covering the Internet of Things and cloud-based services, the company said.

“As viewing habits and business models in the TV industry evolve, operators are being forced to reinvent their businesses and update their offerings. The ones that will come out on top are those that can successfully adapt and quickly launch new services based on consumer insights to generate additional revenue streams. With today’s launch of Zenterio Services, we are making clear our intentions to become the leading full-service provider of technology, value added services and consultancy for the TV industry,” said Jörgen Nilsson, CEO of Zenterio.

“The launch of Zenterio Services will allow us to tap into international demand for both our technology and consulting services, covering operators of all sizes. Through our Zenterio and Zenterio Services offering, we can provide a greater range of services to the TV industry, as well as to emerging sectors such as the IoT and the connected home.”
