Deutsche Telekom has appointed the Christoph Ahrendt, the head of finance for its Telekom IT division, to chief financial officer of its business customers segment, T-Systems.
Ahrendt, who has held a number of management positions at Deutsche Telekom since joining the company in 2002, will take up the new role on March 3, 2016, taking over from Thilo Kusch, who said in December that he would leave the role this spring.
In his new role, Ahrendt will be responsible for both the market unit, Telekom IT, as well as Telekom Security.
