Christine Scheil has taken on her new role as managing director of Sky Austria, transitioning to the pay TV operator from its sister platform Sky Deutschland.
In a note to colleagues she said: “It was a pleasure working with you in the very moving and eventful times we all went through in the last ten years. Due to the integration of Sky Deutschland within the broader Sky Group I have taken over a new role as the managing director of Sky Austria and I am very excited to move to Vienna.”
Scheil, who has now started in the new role, has been at Sky Deutschland for fifteen years, latterly as vice president, investor relations, equity capital markets and governance.
Sky Austria is part of the wider Sky Europe business, which also comprises pay TV operations in the UK, Ireland, Germany and Italy.
