Nos expands fibre network

Portuguese pay TV and cable operator Nos is expanding its fibre network to the town of Nelas in the central part of the country, the latest move in an expansion programme that will see it extend its reach by 550,000 homes this year.

The Nelas expansion will make Nos’s high-speed services available to a further 6,000 homes.

Overall, Nos will extend its net to 100 municipalities this year.
