Abox42 said the new model in the M-series range supports HEVC / H.265 and that its product portfolio can now cope with third generation DVB-C, T/T2, S2 hybrid smart set-top box deployments with different feature and price sets.
The company will also showcase the newest version of OPX TV, its TV application and backend solution, which is now available for IPTV, OTT and hybrid DVB projects.
“OPX TV offers a variety of new features and functionalities, such as full HbbTV support, IP based or DVB based EPG and capability to run both IPTV, OTT and traditional DVB channels in a unified channel list,” said Abox42.
Abox42 has also added Intertrust / Marlin’s Expressplay to its portfolio of DRM and software-based conditional access systems, allowing operators to run different security systems for different applications or services side-by-side on the Abox42 platform.
