Nordic telco TeliaSonera has seen modest growth in TV numbers across the territories in which it operates in the first quarter.
TeliaSonera had 701,000 TV subscribers in Sweden at the end of the first quarter, up 4,000 on the previous quarter. In Finland, the operator had 493,000 TV subscribers, up from 481,000 in December, while in Denmark it had 20,000 TV customers, flat quarter-on-quarter.
Lithuanian subsidiary Teo reported 192,000 TV subscribers at the end of the quarter, up from 187,000 in December. However, the Lithuanian telco’s digital-terrestrial TV base dropped by 10,000 to 53,000 over the same period. Estonian unit Elion meanwhile had 166,000 TV customers, flat quarter-on-quarter.
