OTT TV technology specialist Piksel has appointed former Kodak executive Don Whaley as its as vice-president of global channels.
Whaley will lead Piksel’s channel partner business, developing a global strategy for Piksel’s video and digital signage SaaS products and maximising reach for these video services.
“We are looking to invest in channel sales significantly as part of our long-term strategy, and Don has the right industry expertise to help us recruit, develop and manage our growing roster of channel partners,” said Kevin Joyce, chief commercial officer, Piksel.
Whaley added: “Having a coherent and effective channel strategy and supporting management process is a vital part of the wider go-to-market strategy. While Piksel already has some established channels in markets around the globe, there is clear ambition and appetite for further expansion.
