Russian pay TV operator Tricolor TV has passed the milestone of 15 million households, of which 10 million are identified as ‘active’ subscribers.
Mikhail Gorjachev, content director of Tricolor TV, yesterday told local journalists that about 99% of new subscribers were taking the operator’s HD option, which now reaches 4.2 million households, of which 3.9 million are active subscribers.
Sales and customer service director Alexey Karpov told journalists that average revenue per user among active Tricolor TV customers had increased from RUB805 a year last year to RUB950 this year. he said that ARPU amongst HD subscribers was about RUB1,191.
