France-based sales house AB International Distribution has recruited Jeremy Charron as its first digital sales chief.
Charron has joined AB from RTL-backed French broadcaster M6 where he was sales manager for the TV channel and its movie distribution offshoot SND. He started at M6 in 2000, moving up to marketing manager in 2004 and then into sales and acquisitions in 2007.
At AB he oversee the development of the programming catalogue, which stretches to 16,500 hours. He will report to Valerie Vleeschhouwer, who runs the AB International Distribution.
