Latvian service provider Lattelecom has teamed up with the country’s Positivus Festival to launch a 24-hour Positivus TV channel to cover the event.
Lattelecom is providing Positivus with technical support to deliver the event’s first pop-up TV channel, which the group says is evidence of its commitment to promoting Latvian content. Latvian Radio is also a partner in the project.
The channel will air music videos of artists involved in the event in the morning and will carry, under the banner Made in Latvia, a series of interviews with Latvian artists that have performed at Positivus. Other features include interviews with international artists and information for festival visitors.
Lattelecom is the main sponsor of Positivus, which takes place at Salacgrīva in northern Latvia from July 18-20.
