Ukrainian cable operator Volia has tapped set-top technology provider Entone for the next phase of the rollout of its hybrid TV service Volia Smart HD.
Volia is rolling out Entone’s Aria Interactive DTA device as its expands the Smart HD service across its own network and third-party networks.
The hybrid device supports DVB-C and IP inputs.

“With Entone’s ready-to-deploy Aria iDTA, we can quickly and cost-effectively deliver compelling hybrid services today while also laying a foundation to support cloud and interactive applications in the future.”
