Long-serving RTL executive and CEO of RTL Hrvatska (RTL Croatia), Johannes Züll, is leaving to take the chief executive role at German production company Studio Hamburg.
A spokesman for RTL confirmed to DTVE that a Züll is due to leave for Studio Hamburg, but said that he will remain in his current post until a successor has been found.
Conversations between Züll and RTL about an early termination date of his contract are underway, but a departure date is yet to be finalised, the spokesman added.
Züll was appointed CEO of RTL Croatia in September 2009. Prior to that, between 1999 and 2007, he held various positions within the RTL Group, including managing director of RTL Interactive and head of strategy and business development at RTL Television in Cologne.
He briefly left the firm to work for media and digital communications group Aegis Media between 2007 and 2009.
