Vice launches electronic music channel in UK, Europe

Youth media company Vice has launched electronic music and culture channel Thump in the UK and Europe.

The online channel, available at www.thu.mp, will feature video documentaries and series investigative stories and new music, and launches alongside existing Vice music channel Noisey.

“Virtually everyone in the Vice world loves clubbing and nightlife culture, but most dance content tends to be somewhat dry and prescriptive. We want Thump to become a destination for everyone that loves, lives and breathes electronic music. And we want it to be fun,” said Vice’s head of music, Alex Hoffman.

The Thump UK team will be led by editor Lauren Martin.
