Deutsche Telekom has renewed its long-term contract with Norigin Media – a firm that provides multi-screen and OTT services for network operators, broadcasters and content owners.
The deal will see Deutsche Telekom continue to use Norigin’s services to stream TV and VOD across mobile devices, and includes the use of Norigin Media’s TV and VoD client applications and live hosted headend across mobiles and tablets.
The pair have worked together in Austria and Germany since 2008, with Deutsche Telekom collaborating with Norigin to deliver live channels from ARD, ZDF, ProSieben, Sat.1 and Sky Bundesliga to its mobile customers.
