Sky cuts Now TV price
Sky has dropped the cost of its Now TV pay-monthly movies service from £15 (€17.70) to £8.99 per-month.
DTVE understands that the price cut came in last month, with the firm previously offering the Sky Movies content through the OTT service at £8.99 for just a three-month trial period.
Sky Sports access on the online platform is still priced at £9.99 per-day.
The news comes a week after Sky started offering its Now TV box, a low-price web-connected set-top, bundled with either Sky Sports or Sky Movies content passes for the first time in UK high street stores John Lewis, Currys PC World and Argos.
A Now TV Box plus Sky Sports Day Pass will cost £14.99, providing access to all six Sky Sports channels for 24 hours. For £24.99, shoppers can pick up Now TV Box and a three-month Sky Movies Pass. On its own, the box can be bought from Sky’s Now TV website for £9.99.
