Dutch telco KPN added 72,000 IPTV customers in the third quarter.
The growth in IPTV gave KPN a TV market share of 25%, up five percentage points year-on-year and one percentage point quarter-on-quarter, according to the company.
KPN said its triple-play base now stood at 1.169 million customers, or 43% penetration.
KPN’s fibre-to-the-home base grew by 32,000 homes in the quarter to 461,000, while its overall broadband base grew by 4,000, giving it a 41% market share.
