Hybrid TV platform provider Vision247 has officially launched its cloud-based Perception platform to enable content owners to deliver services direct to consumers.
The platform, which is operational with over 300,000 live users, according to Vision247, enables the delivery of content to devices including set-top boxes, smart TVs, PCs tablets and smartphones and is compatible with the iOS, Android and Windows Phone 8 operating systems.
The user interface and apps of the white label platform can be branded by content owners.
John Mills, CEO, Vision247, said: “Perception represents a coming of age for internet delivered television. The technology and high speed fixed and mobile networks are finally mature enough to deliver the best and most pleasing viewing experience to a global audience that has a hunger to consume quality content. For the content owner this marks a new opportunity to engage directly and build deeper brand loyalty.”
