Orange signs multiscreen app deal with Norigin Media

Orange Group has signed a global deal to deploy multi-screen TV everywhere apps designed by Norigin Media across “key markets.” 

Norigin Media’s hybrid apps will allow customers of Orange TV services to have over-the-top access to TV and video content across multiple internet connected devices including smart phones, tablets, PCs, connected TVs and game consoles, said Norigin Media.

“Orange already has successful existing IPTV services and we hope that our applications will help evolve premium video consumption across popular video enabled devices,” said Ajey Anand, chief commercial officer at Norigin Media.

Head-quartered in Oslo, Norway, Norigin offers a multi-screen application suite called Hybrid Apps and live TV hosting headend capacity and also works with the likes of T-Mobile, Eurosport and TV2 Denmark.
