Conax names German area sales chief

Content security specialist Conax has named Andreas Binderlehner as director of area sales for the German speaking region in Europe. 

Binderlehner will be responsible for development of business opportunities and expansion of sales of Conax Conditional Access and DRM solutions to Cable, Satellite, DTH and DTT Operators, ISPs and telcos in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Binderlehner, who previously worked for compression technology specialist Envivio, has also held positions at Verimatrix and SeaChange.
