Today marks the final stage of Poland’s analogue switch-off, according to the timetable laid out by the country’s Office of Electronic Communications.
The country started its switchover to digital last November, with seven staged analogue shut downs by region following – the last of which falls today in areas that include the north eastern town of Ostrołęka and Leżajsk in the south east.
With the final switchoff, multiplex operator Emitel said it would include additional transmissions on the DVB-T digital MUX3.
