Channels changes for Top TV

South Africa-based pay TV operator Top TV has lost two channels from its offering, according to local reports.

Fox Retro has disappeared from the Top TV line-up, while Top TV’s own Top Explore channel has been replaced by entertainment channel Spark.

Top TV told local media that the removal of Fox Retro was the result of a decision by Fox International Channels and that it was in discussions about finding a replacement.

Fox is expected to launch Fox Crime in South Africa on the DStv platform next week.

Top Explore is the latest in a series of Top TV’s own-branded channels to be withdrawn, With Spark launched as its replacement brand.
