Eutelsat Communications has launched a ‘satellite finder’ app for accurate pointing of satellite antennas for consumers, installers, VSAT operators and news broadcasters.
The free app is available for all Eutelsat satellites and can be downloaded to iOS and Android devices. It is designed to assemble parameters for exact antenna pointing, from elevation and azimuth angles to line of sight and optimal polarisation angles, Eutelsat said.
The satellite operator added that the launch extends across its entire fleet the ‘KA-Sat Finder’ app that it released in 2012.
