SMIT launches CI+ 1.3 CAM

Conditional-access module supplier SMIT has launched a new CI+ 1.3 CAM that provides new features including operator service list management, improved DVR capability and PIN code management, enhanced copy protection, HD graphics, increased LSC channel bandwidth and specific support for cable video-on-demand. 

SMIT said the new CAM would provide options for more interactive services, including bi-directonal services, in a simple way.
