Bulgaria’s Mtel debuts Sportal network

Bulgarian operator Mtel is debuting a new sports channel, called Sportal TV, after signing a partnership deal with Bulgarian sports news agency Sportal.bg this week.

The free channel will be exclusive to Mtel TV customers for a month and will be added to each of Mtel’s digital TV packages, with viewers also able to access the channel on their smartphone, tablet or computer.

The channel will focus on sports news coverage, with 70% of this output to be centred around Bulgarian sport, and the remainder on international sport.
