All episodes and seasons of cop drama The Shield will be carried, for free, on online network Crackle.
Sony Pictures Television distributes the series and Sony also owns Crackle. Seasons will be released at regular installments with all episodes from seasons one and two will be available to stream between April-June, seasons three and four between July-September and the remaining seasons between October-December.
The hit show, which stretched to seven series, finished in 2008. It follows a team of hard-boiled LA cops.
Crackle has already launched full seasons of firefighter drama Rescue Me and iconic comedy series Seinfeld.
