Multimedia Polska moves forward with consolidation strategy

Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska has acquired Transmitel Rzeszow, a service provider with about 5,500 revenue-generating units in the Rzeszow, Sanok, Kolbuszowa Kanczuga and Gorzyce region in south-eastern Poland.

Transmitel Rzeszow’s network passes about 10,500 households. Multimedia Polska said the acquisition was in line with its strategy of consolidating smaller cable operators across the country.
